Name: Téo Sanico

Grade: 12 - Class of 2017

Previous School: Junipero Serra

With college acceptances received and final exams complete, being a second semester senior at York School is drawing to an end. However, if someone told me to name one thing that has kept me powering through the last few months of classes, I would respond with this: the York community. Ms, Masten, our college counselor and senior class dean, and my fellow seniors kept me positive and focused during the college process. My instructors are personable and understanding, and were always willing to offer extra support without sacrificing the pace of the course for the rest of the class. Whether it be through spirit days, York prom or just sitting with my classmates and/or teachers at lunch, the York community always had this Yorkie´s back. Thank you to York and its faculty for walking by my side these past four years. I´m excited to bring these talents you have awoken in me to Santa Clara University in the next chapter of my life.
